Timing Belt with PAZ and PAR Main Functions

There are many fabrications for polyurethane timing belt, like teeth grinding, punching holes, different coatings and adding green cloth and so on. PU timing belt adding green cloth on teeth side, we call it PAZ or NFT; back side adding green cloth fabric we call it PAR; both sides coating green fabric is called PAZ+PAR or NFT+NFB. This text will explain the functions of adding green cloth on teeth or back side of polyurethane timing belt.

PAZ

• Increase Wear Resistance
  Timing belt teeth frequently mesh with the timing pulley during long-term operation, which is easy to wear. Adding green cloth can enhance wear resistance of the tooth surface and extend belt service life.
• Decrease Noise
  The cloth fabric layer plays a role in buffering and vibration reduction, thereby reducing the noise of the toothed belt during high-speed operation.
• Anti Pollution/Easy to Clean
  Green cloth has the characteristics of anti-oil and anti-dust, which can reduce the adhesion of contaminants on the teeth surface and ensure the belt running stably

  The green cloth fabric is more heat resistant and has a lower coefficient of friction than polyurethane, which helps the timing belt reduce heat generated by friction under high-speed or heavy-load working conditions and avoid thermal aging.

• Durability in Bidirectional Motion
