Customer Background
An Indian customer ordered braided stainless steel fiber rope used together with sweep fingers and triangles for stacker push bars for a longer life cycle, which required specific hardness and dimensional accuracy.
Customer Challenge
After receiving the first order of 100m 6*6mm rope, the client give the feedback that the rope size is enough, but it is too soft, not as dense as they need.
Puteken carefully reviewed their feedback and requirements, in the next order quickly adjusted the machine which braided rope and manufacture rope parameters according to the customer’s requirements.
After the order was delivered, the customer conducted another evaluation and raised additional requirements:
- The dimensions did not fully meet the target specifications, but the density is okay
- The rope needed further adjustment based on the original 6*6mm rope structure
Puteken Solution
Based on the further feedback, Puteken continue to adjust the machine and optimize the rope diameter and keep the hardness of the rope. After customer reconfirmed all key parameters before final production.
Through continuous technical communication and process optimization, the final product was manufactured according to the customer’s exact requirements.
