An overseas customer required a small-size endless timing belt with PAZ tooth backing applied on the teeth side.
Due to the compact belt dimensions, many belt manufacturers were unable to process PAZ backing on such a small belt, as their machinery had minimum size limitations.

Customer Challenge

The customer clearly stated their concern:

“Truly endless molded type, and can you confirm that you can apply the PAZ tooth backing on this small of a belt? Most other companies seem to be size limited in their machinery.”

The key challenges included:

• Small belt size with limited processing tolerance
• Requirement for PAZ backing on the tooth side
• Need for a truly endless molded belt, not spliced or jointed

Puteken Solution

Puteken evaluated the belt size and processing requirements and confirmed the feasibility of applying PAZ tooth backing on this small-dimension belt.
Based on our production capabilities and process control, we supplied a truly endless molded timing belt with precisely applied PAZ backing and a 2 mm thick 65A urethane tread coating.

Detailed specifications were confirmed prior to production to ensure dimensional accuracy and coating consistency.
