PU Timing Belt PAZ/PAR Description
PAZ or PAR is also called NFT or NFB, it is PU timing belt tooth surface or back side covered with green or black polyamide fabric.
The nylon fabric on the tooth side reduces friction and wear between the belt teeth and pulley, which offers quieter or smoother engagement between belt and pulley. The polyamide fabric layer also reduces buffering and vibration, thereby reducing the noise of the toothed belt during high-speed operation.
The cloth fabric on the back side protects the belt from the wear, thus increasing belt service life. Also cloth fabric is more heat resistant and has a lower coefficient of friction than polyurethane, which helps the timing belt reduce heat generated by friction under high-speed or heavy-load working conditions and avoid thermal aging.
