Heat Resistant Kevlar Sleeving for Cable Protection
Kevlar sleeving is woven by enhanced Kevlar yarns, a type of synthetic polymer featured with excellent durability and resistance to heat, cutting and chemicals. It is widely used on roller in glass industry and cable protection. Puteken supplies Kevlar roller sleeving with various diameters in 2mm thickness.
- High Temperature Resistance: Kevlar can withstand temperature up to about 550°C without melting and deformation, used for situations where require high temperature.
- Fire Retardant
- Cutting Resistant: Protects cables and hoses from sharp edges, wear, and impact.
- Insulation: Kevlar is non-conductive and has superior insulation properties, which can be used for protection of live line.
Kevlar Sleeving Description
Kevlar sleeving, also called Kevlar tube, a wear resistant, high tensile strength protective sleeve made from aranid yarns, which has features of high strength and light weight. Its strength is about 5-6 times as steel, toughness is about twice as steel, but its weight is only one fifth of steel.
It is designed to provide abrasion resistance, cutting protection and heat resistance in various applications. Kevlar sleeving is widely used as protective sleeve for heater pipping, pipeline, cable and wire and etc.
As Kevlar sleeving suppliers, Puteken supplies a wide range of Kevlar sleeving in various inner diameters from Ø15 to Ø110mm. It can be made from 100% virgin para-aramid or aramid mixed with stainless steel yarns.
