Fire Resistant Kevlar Rope for Tempered Glass
Kevlar rope is braided by Kevlar fiber, a type of synthetic polymer known for its superior durability and resistance to heat, abrasion and chemicals. It is mainly used for glass tempered furnace. Puteken supplies flat, square and round Kevlar braided rope with various specifications.
- High Tensile Strength: Kevlar fire rope can withstand extremely high tension without breaking, making it ideal for demanding applications where heavy loads need to be supported.
- Heat Resistance: Kevlar can withstand temperature up to about 550°C without losing its structural integrity, making it suitable for high-temperature environments.
- Fire Proof
- Low Stretch: Kevlar rope has minimal elongation under load, ensuring stability and reliability in application where minimal stretch is crucial
Kevlar Rope Description
Kevlar rope, also known as aramid rope, is made of 100% para-aramid filament fiber, which has features of high strength and light weight. Its strength is about 5-6 times as steel, toughness is about twice as steel, but its weight is only one fifth of steel.
Aramid rope also is heat resistant, it can work under 330°C operation temperature, and its instant peak temperature can be up to 550°C. So it is widely twined on tempered furnace roller, used as a protective buffer material, to transport hot glass, preventing the hot glass from scratching, crash and cold explosion.
As Kevlar rope suppliers, Puteken supplies a wide range of aramid fiber rope available in flat, square and round shapes.
