1.How many types of tooth arrangements on double-sided belts?
For double sided polyurethane timing belt, there are two types of tooth arrangements:
- Symmetrical (DA): Teeth on both sides are aligned directly opposite each other.
- Staggered (DB): Teeth on each side are staggered to improve flexibility and reduce interference.
For double sided rubber timing belt, there is only DA type.
2.What is a double-sided timing belt?
A double-sided timing belt (also called a dual-sided or double-toothed belt) is a belt with teeth on both sides. This design allows the belt to transmit power from both the top and bottom surfaces, enabling synchronized motion in multiple directions or around multiple pulleys.
